Tihana Petrovi\u0107 Le\u0161 <\/b> is a professor at the Department of Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb. She graduated in Ethnology and Archaeology and received her MA and PhD in Ethnology from the University of Zagreb. She has led two scientific projects. Her publications include three scholarly books in Croatian: Lepoglava Lacemaking (2008), Science and Worldview. Ethnology and Educational Policy in Banovina Hrvatska 1939 \u2013 1941 (with Suzana Le\u010dek, 2010), and Places of Memory: Sv. Rok and Lovinac (2022). She was a member of the Croatian Ministry of Culture and Media Committee for Intangible Cultural Heritage. For her research and teaching work, she received the \"Milovan Gavazzi\" awards from the Croatian Ethnological Society (2008, 2023) and the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (2023). She has worked at the Department of Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology in Zagreb since 1989. Her primary research and teaching areas include national ethnology and cultural anthropology, especially the history of Croatian ethnology and female economy, house industry, anthropology of textiles and clothing, and intangible cultural heritage.<\/p>
