Iva Grubi\u0161a<\/strong> is a research and teaching assistant at the Department of Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb. She graduated from the same faculty in 2016 with a degree in ethnology and cultural anthropology and sociology. In 2026, she defended her doctoral dissertation in the field of ethnology and anthropology, titled Creating a Home: Contemporary Experiences of Refugees in the City of Zagreb<\/i>. Alongside her doctoral studies, she completed the three-year international doctoral programme Transformations in European Societies<\/i> (carried out at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich). She is the author of the book A Taste of Home: The Cultural-Anthropological Overview of Migrant Integration in Zagreb<\/i> (2019). Since 2019, she has been employed at the Department of Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology, where she is engaged in teaching in the undergraduate programme. She is a member of the editorial board of HED-biblioteka<\/i>, the publishing series of the Croatian Ethnological Society. Her research interests include home-making practices, the anthropology of urban everyday life, refugee studies, and the anthropology of futures.<\/p>
